REITERATION OF SUBMISSION OF MANDATORY MONTHLY HOSPITAL REPORT (MMHR)



The Mandatory Monthly Hospital Report (MMHR) is one of the measures used by PhilHealth to monitor the performance of accredited health care providers. Results of analysis of the MMHRs serve as guide for future accreditation and other policy decisions.

To reiterate PhilHealth Circular No. 36, s. 1998, requiring submission of the MMHR which replaced the Clinical Monthly Report, the following guidelines are hereby issued:

  1. All categories of hospitals in the National Capital Region, whether private or government, shall submit the MMHR to PhilHealth's Accreditation Department at the Central Office not later than the 10th day of the ensuing month. Hospital should retain a copy.

  2. Hospitals in the provinces shall submit their MMHR to the Regional Health Insurance Offices not later than the 10th day of the ensuing month. The RHIOs shall then forward the reports to the Accreditation Department on or before the 15th day of the ensuing month. Hospitals and the RHIOs should retain a copy of said report.

  3. The attached modified format of the MMHR shall be followed. Please prepare report based on this format.

  4. Failure to submit any or all of the reports shall be a ground for administrative disciplinary action including but not limited to suspension of payment of claims, suspension, denial or revocation of accreditation.

  5. All instructions per PhilHealth Circular No. 36, s. 1998 inconsistent hereof are deemed modified.

This Circular takes effect October 1, 2000.
