ORIGINAL REGULATION:

PCAR PART 7

7.3.1 RADIO EQUIPMENT

(a)
[AAC] No person may operate an aircraft unless it is equipped with radio equipment required for the kind of operation being conducted.

AMENDED REGULATION:

7.3.1 RADIO EQUIPMENT

(a)
[AAC] No person may operate an aircraft unless it is equipped with radio equipment required for the kind of operation being conducted and capable of receiving meteorological information at any time during flight.

EFFECTIVITY CLAUSE:

This amendment shall be added to the PCAR Part 7, series of 2013 and shall take effect immediately and supersede any other memoranda, regulations and directives in conflict with this provision after compliance with the requisite single newspaper publication and a copy filed with the UP.
