AMENDING SECTION XII, ITEM A. OF NTC MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 17-12-2002 RE: RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING RADIO TRAINING CENTERS OFFERING SHORT-TERM GMDSS RADIO COMMUNICATIONS COURSES
Pursuant to Act 3846, as amended, Executive Order No. 546, Series of 1979, Section A-IV/2 and Table A-IV/2 Chapter IV of the STCW Convention 2010 Manila Amendments, and in compliance with the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No. 10635 and the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) letter dated 14 July 2015, the Commission hereby amends Section XII, Item a. of Memorandum Circular No. 17-12-2002, to read as follows:
XII. Faculty Requirements
- Certificate of Accreditation as Instructor duly issued by MARINA. All other provisions of Memorandum Circular No. 17-12-2002 remain in force.
All Orders and other Issuances inconsistent with this Order are hereby deemed amended, repealed or modified accordingly.
