the twenty-fourth day of September, Two Thousand Fifteen
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MAYOR TO CAUSE THE ACQUISITION, EITHER BY NEGOTIATION, EXPROPRIATION OR BY ANY OTHER LEGAL MEANS, OF THOSE PARCELS OF LAND WITH A TOTAL LAND AREA OF SEVENTEEN THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED THIRTY-FIVE SQUARE METERS AND SIXTY-SIX SQUARE DECIMETERS (17,635.66 SQ.M.), MORE OR LESS, SITUATED AT DULONG GAGALANGIN, JUAN LUNA AND HERMOSA STREETS IN BARANGAY 186, ZONE 16, DISTRICT II, MANILA, REGISTERED UNDER THE NAMES OF PATRICIA L. TIONGSON, ET. AL, IN THE REGISTRY OF DEEDS FOR THE CITY OF MANILA, UNDER TRANSFER CERTIFICATE OF TITLE NOS. 283734, 283735, 283732, 283691, 283692, 283693 AND 283694, FOR THE ACTUAL AND BONA FIDE TENANTS THEREAT, UNDER THE LAND-FOR-THE-LANDLESS PROGRAM OF THE CITY OF MANILA

Be it ordained by the City Council of Manila, in session assembled THAT:
SECTION 1. His Honor, the Mayor, shall hereby be authorized to cause the acquisition, either by negotiation, expropriation or by any other legal means, of those parcels of land with a total land area of Seventeen Thousand Six Hundred Thirty-Five Square Meters and Sixty-six Square Decimeters (17,635.66 Sq. M.), more or less, situated at Dulong Gagalangin, Juan Luna and Hermosa Streets in Barangay 186, Zone 16, District II, Manila, registered under tne names ot Patricia L. Tiongson, etal., in the Registry of Deeds for the City of Manila, under Transfer Certificate of Title Nos. 283734, 283735, 283732, 283691, 283692, 283693 and 283694, for the actual and bona fide tenants thereat, under the Land-for-the-Landless Program of the City of Manila.
SEC. 2. The City Mayor is hereby authorized to utilize any available funds in the City Treasury or from other funding facilities of other government agencies for this purpose.
SEC. 3. The aforementioned parcels of land, sought to be acquired, shall be for the benefit of the bona fide tenants/ occupants thereat, particularly the registered members of Samahan ng Magkakapitbahay (SMB) ng Barangay 186, Zone 16.
SEC. 4. Effectivity Clause. – This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
This Ordinance was finally enacted by the City Council of Manila on October 22, 2015.
