FILING OF APPLICATIONS FOR LICENSING OF TOY ESTABLISHMENTS AND REGISTRATION OF TOY PRODUCTS TO THE CENTER FOR COSMETIC REGULATION AND RESEARCH THROUGH THE FDA-PAIR UNIT
As per FDA Memorandum Circular No. 2013-058 (http://www.fda.gov.ph/ attachments/article/93217/FDA%20MEMORANDUM%202013-058.pdf) the transfer of the regulation of toys for children and childcare articles, including infant bottles and sippy cups, from the Center for Device Regulation, Radiation Health and Research (CDRRHR) to the Center for Cosmetics Regulation and Research (CCRR) is hereby effective on 02 January 2014.
All establishments engaged in the operation of toy manufacturing and distribution are hereby instructed to follow the existing procedures for receiving applications on licensing of establishments and registration of health products implemented by the FDA-Public Assistance, Information and Receiving (PAIR) Unit.
