AN ORDINANCE GRANTING EACH AND EVERY BARANGAY CHAIRMAN IN THE CITY OF MANILA, THE PRODUCTIVITY ENHACEMENT INCENTIVE AS AUTHORIZED BY BUDGET CIRCULAR NO. 2013-3 ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF BUDGET AND MANAGEMENT ON NOVEMBER 21, 2013

Be it ordained by the City Council of Manila, in session assembled, THAT:
SECTION 1. Each and every Barangay Chairman in the City of Manila shall be granted the Productivity Enhancement Incentive amounting to Five Thousand Pesos (PhP. 5,000.00) as authorized by Budget Circular No. 2013-3 issued by the Department of Budget and Management on November 21, 2013.
SEC. 2. The amount necessary for the grant of Productivity Enhancement Incentive under Section 1 hereof, shall be sourced from the Non-Office Expenditures (Statutory and Contractual Obligations), funded under Supplemental Budget No. 1 of Ordinance No. 8403, and as authorized by Resolution No. 489 Series of 2015, adopted on December 10, 2015 amending Resolution No. 485, Series of 2015, adopted on December 8, 2015.
SEC. 3. Effectivity Clause. – This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
This Ordinance was finally enacted by the City Council of Manila on December 15, 2015.
