[ POEA MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 41 s. 1991, September 20, 1991 ]

DEPLOYMENT QUOTA



Pursuant to Section 21, Rule II, Book II of the Revised Rules and Regulations Governing Overseas Employment, which provides, among others, that licenses of agencies which fail to undertake minimum levels of worker deployment shall not be renewed, all agencies shall, at the time of renewal of their respective licenses, be required to show proof of actual deployment of at least ONE HUNDRED (100) workers/seafarers, during the validity of their license. Failure to comply with this requirement shall be a ground for non-renewal of license.

It is understood that the foregoing mandatory requirement shall be in addition to those enumerated in Section 17, Rule II, Book II of the Revised Rules and Regulations Governing Overseas Employment.

This Circular takes effect immediately.
