AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO. SP-2384 S-2015, ADOPTING UNIFORM COLORS FOR ALL PUBLIC ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN QUEZON CITY.

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. SP-2384, S-2015, entitled "Uniform Color For School Buildings Ordinance" adopting a uniform color for all public elementary and secondary schools In Quezon City was enacted on January 20, 2015;

WHEREAS, the said Ordinance lacks detailed specification of color schemes necessary for uniform coverage;

WHEREAS, there is a need to amend the composition of the "Uniform Color For School Buildings Ordinance" to further achieve the purpose of the same.

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF QUEZON CITY IN REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED;

SECTION 1. TITLE – This Ordinance shall be known as the "Color Specification Amendment to the Uniform Color for School Buildings Ordinance".

SECTION 2. SPECIFICATION OF COLORS – Section 3 of Ordinance No. SP-2384, S-2015, is hereby amended to Include the following provision:
"SECTION 3-A.  UNIFORM COLOR DESIGNATION – The prescribed colors for all Public Elementary and Secondary Schools within the jurisdiction of Quezon City shall be as follows:
  1. Copper Bright (p82 sG) for the border accent;
  2. Pure Ivory (p99 sG) for the body;
  3. Kitten White (p112 sG) for the body accent and roof;
  4. Bright Silver nano-finish cladding for inverted "U" and canopy, or Gray Tropics (p26 sG) in case of concrete;
  5. Day Star (p90 sG) for the body accents; and
  6. Indian Com (p90 sG) for the parapets and columns.
These are generic colors not identifiable with any political party or local government official of Quezon City, and these could be easily maintained for the purpose of repairs in the event of deterioration."

SECTION 3. REPEALING CLAUSE – All ordinances, resolution, local executive orders, rules and regulations, or any part thereof, which are inconsistent with any of the provisions of this Ordinance are thereby repealed, modified, or amended accordingly.

SECTION 4. EFFECTNITY CLAUSE – This Ordinance shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation,
