AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4 OF ORDINANCE NO. SP-2382, S-2015, MANDATING THE USE OF UNIFORM COLORS ON ALL BARANGAY HALLS AND MULTI-PURPOSE BUILDINGS IN QUEZON CITY

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. SP-2382 S-2015, mandating the use of uniform colors on all Barangay Halls and Multi-purpose Buildings in Quezon City was enacted in connection with DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2010-101 banning the names or initials and/or images or pictures of government officials in billboards and signages of government programs and properties;

WHEREAS, the said Ordinance limited the colors, prescribed to only three (3);

WHEREAS, the prescribed color scheme needs amendment to make it less restrictive and to facilitate compliance.

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF QUEZON CITY IN REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED:

SECTION 1. Section 4 of Ordinance No. SP-2382, S-2015, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 4. Uniform Color – The prescribed colors tor all the Barangay Halls and Multi-Purpose Halls within the Jurisdiction of Quezon City shall be:
  1. Kitten White (p112 sG) for the body and roof;
  2. Copper Bright (p82 sG) for the border accents;
  3. ACP Bright Silver Nano Finish Cladding for the inverted U and canopy, or Gray Tropics (p26 sG) in case of concrete;
  4. Pure Ivory (p99 sG) for the body accents;
  5. Day Star (p89 sG) as complementary color for the body accents; and
  6. Indian Corn (p90 sG) for the parapets and columns.
These colors are not identifiable with any political party or local government official of Quezon City and, being generic, could be easily maintained."

SECTION 2. REPEALING CLAUSE – All Ordinances, resolutions, local executive orders, rules and regulations, or any part thereof, which are inconsistent with any of the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed, modified, or amended accordingly.

SECTION 3. EFFECTIVITY CLAUSE – This ordinance shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication In a newspaper of local circulation.
