[ SRA SUGAR ORDER NO. 3, November 11, 1991 ]

ALLOCATING 13% OF 1991-92 PRODUCTION FOR US QUOTA



WHEREAS, the United States Department of Agriculture has declared the quantity of 178, 380 metric tons raw value (MTRV) as quota for the Philippines for the period October 1, 1991 to September 30, 1992;

WHEREAS, the Sugar Board authorized the Administrator to fix within a certain limit the percentage distribution of quedan for the 1991-92 Crop Year;

WHEREAS, in pursuance of Sec. 1 of SRA Sugar Order No. 1, s. 1991-92 and after consultation with the National Council of Sugar Producers the percentage distribution of sugar production as indicated hereunder has been determined to be in the national interest;

NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Sugar Regulatory Administration, it is hereby resolved that:

SECTION 1. All sugar produced beginning November 11, 1991 shall be quedanned by the mill companies in the following percentages:

“A” or export sugar - 13%
“B” or domestic sugar - 87%

SECTION 2. Provisions of sugar orders, circular letters, rules and regulations inconsistent with or contrary to this order are hereby amended, modified, or revoked accordingly.
