AUTHENTICATION AND VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS FOR OFWS BOUND FOR PALAU

Pursuant to POEA Advisory No. 21, Series of 2012 and Advisory No. 6, Series of 2013 and per further official advice received from the Office of Consular Affairs (OCA) of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), all employment documents originating from, or issued in Palau must be authenticated first by the Philippine Honorary Consul in Koror, Palau before it can be authenticated by OCA-Authentication Division, DFA-Manila.
In this regard, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) will process employment documents of workers bound for Palau that were authenticated on or before 02 August 2013 by the Office of Asian and Pacific Affairs-DFA, Manila.
