GUIDELINES CLARIFYING THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PRE-DEPARTURE ORIENTATION SEMINAR (PDOS) OF ALL NAME HIRE CANADA-BOUND WORKERS

Further to MOI No. 005, Series of 2009, the PDOS of all name hires bound for Canada shall be conducted at the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) Ortigas, Mandaluyong City. The seminar will be administered jointly by OWWA and POEA. The Certificate of Attendance which shall be issued by OWWA after the seminar shall be a requirement of the POEA for the issuance of the travel exit document.
This guideline is being issued to clarify the requirements for the Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) of all name hire Canada-bound workers.
