AN ACT CONVERTING THE CARMONA RELOCATION CENTER HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF GENERAL MARIANO ALVAREZ, PROVINCE OF CAVITE, INTO A VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Batasang Pambansa in session assembled:

SECTION 1. The present Carmona Relocation Center High School in the Municipality of General Mariano Alvarez, Province of Cavite, is hereby converted into a vocational and technical high school to be known as the General Mariano Alvarez Technical High School, hereinafter referred to in this Act as the School.

SEC. 2. The School shall be under the control and supervision of the Ministry of Education and Culture which shall be responsible for the staffing, curricula development and the promulgation of rules and regulations on discipline.

SEC. 3. All employees of the School shall be covered by the civil service law on eligibility for permanent appointment pursuant to Presidential Decree Numbered Eight hundred seven and its implementing regulations.

SEC. 4. All assets of the Carmona Relocation Center High School, whether immovable or movable, records and personnel are hereby transferred to the General Mariano Alvarez Technical High School.

SEC. 5. The amount of one hundred thousand pesos for the operation of the school shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 for the Ministry of Education and Culture intended for new national schools: Provided, That the local government unit concerned shall continue to provide its share in the cost of operating and maintaining said school. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 6. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
