AN ACT ESTABLISHING A SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CAGWAIT, PROVINCE OF SURIGAO DEL SUR, TO BE KNOWN AS CAGWAIT SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.
SECTION 1. There is hereby established, under the supervision of the Director of Higher Education, a school of arts and trades in the Municipality of Cagwait, Province of Surigao del Sur, to be known as the Cagwait School of Arts and Trades. Academic, industrial and vocational courses shall be offered in said school.
SEC. 2. The amount of one hundred fifty thousand pesos for the operation of the school shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 for the Ministry of Education and Culture intended for new national schools of trade. Thereafter, such sum as may be needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
