[ BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 127, April 28, 1981 ]

AN ACT CREATING BARANGAY BUSTRAC IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF NABUA, PROVINCE OF CAMARINES SUR.

Be it enacted by the Batasang Pambansa in session assembled:

SECTION. 1. The Sitio of Bustrac in Barangay La Opinion, Municipality of Nabua, Province of Camarines Sur, is hereby converted into a distinct and independent barangay of the said municipality, to be known as Barangay Bustrac.

SEC. 2. Barangay Bustrac shall consist of the territory included within the following boundaries:

"From the property between Rufo Refugio and Loreto de los Santos going Westward along a straight line up to the Western boundary by the properties of Lorenzo Paranal and Juliana Llorente, thence going farther Westward up to a point going to the Northwestern corner up to the property of Marciana Tormes again going Westward to a point which is the boundary of the properties of Bartolome Quiapo, Benita Paranal and Lorenzo Paranal, then going Southwestward to a point of the boundary limits between the properties of Eustaquia Aguila, Primitiva Abanes and Bartolome Quiapo, then going Southward to a point which is the boundary of the property of Bartolome Quiapo and Cristina Abanes up to the boundary of Bato."

SEC 3. After ratification by the majority of the votes cast in a plebiscite to be conducted in the area or areas affected within a period of ninety days after the approval of this Act, the President (Prime Minister) shall appoint the first officials of the new barangay who shall hold office until their successors shall have been duly elected and qualified

SEC. 4. The Commission on Elections shall conduct and supervise the holding of the plebiscite and the expenses for such plebiscite shall be charged to the appropriations of the Commission on Elections for said purpose.

SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
