AN ACT CONVERTING THE JALAUD BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAROTAC NUEVO, PROVINCE OF ILOILO, INTO A NATIONAL SCHOOL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE DON JOSE SUSTEGUER MONFORT MEMORIAL NATIONAL SCHOOL.
Be it enacted by the Batasang Pambansa in session assembled:
SECTION 1. The Jalaud Barangay High School in the Municipality of Barotac Nuevo, Province of Iloilo, is hereby converted into a national school, to be known as the Don Jose Susteguer Monfort Memorial National School.
SEC. 2. The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports shall take the necessary steps for the immediate implementation of this Act.
SEC. 3. The amount of one hundred thousand pesos for the operation of the school shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 and Batas Pambansa Blg. 280 for the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports intended for new national high schools: Provided, That the local government unit concerned shall continue to provide funding for its share in the cost of maintenance and operation of the school. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
