[ PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 178, April 23, 1973 ]

FURTHER AMENDING PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 138, AMENDED BY PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 172, BY ALLOWING THE OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE REPARATIONS MISSION IN TOKYO, JAPAN, TO ENJOY THE BENEFITS GRANTED UNDER THE DECREE UP TO THE TIME OF DISSOLUTION OF THE REPARATIONS MISSION

I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers in me vested by the Constitution as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and pursuant to Proclamation No. 1081, dated September 21, 1972, as amended, do hereby further amend Presidential Decree No. 138, dated March 2, 1973, as amended by Presidential Decree No. 172, dated April 10, 1973, by adding the following section:

"SEC. 2. The personnel of the Reparations Mission in Japan, which Mission will be demobilized and the personnel thereof considered resigned sometime next year, are hereby authorized to take advantage of the benefits granted by this Decree within the period from this date to the time of the dissolution of said Reparations Mission."

Done in the City of Manila, this 23rd day of April, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-three.
