[ ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 240, September 18, 1970 ]

CREATING A COMMITTEE TO STUDY THE FINANCING SCHEME FOR NATIONWIDE RIVER CONTROL AND REFORESTATION PROJECTS



By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby create a Committee which shall study the financing scheme for nationwide river control and reforestation projects, composed of the following:

The Secretary of Public Works and Communications ........................................................................................

The Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources ........................................................................................
Member
The General Manager, National Power Corporation .......................................................................................
Member
The Administrator, National Irrigation Administration ....................................................................................
Member
The Dean, UP College of Forestry ..............................................................................................................
Member

The Committee is hereby authorized to call upon any department, bureau, office, agency or instrumentality of the government for such assistance as it may need towards the immediate accomplishment of its work. The Committee may organize such technical groups or sub-committees as may be necessary to assist it in its function.

The Committee shall submit to this Office its progress report with appropriate recommendations as soon as possible.

Done in the City of Manila, this 18th day of September, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy.
