[ PROCLAMATION NO. 1606, August 29, 2008 ]
AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 255 DATED JUNE 3, 1964, WHICH ESTABLISHED THE CAMP GENERAL SERVILLANO AQUINO MILITARY RESERVATION LOCATED IN BARANGAYS SAN RAFAEL, SAN MIGUEL AND ARMENIA, MUNICIPALITY OF TARLAC (NOW TARLAC CITY), PROVINCE OF TARLAC, ISLAND OF LUZON BY SEGREGATING THE PORTIONS OF THE LAND EMBRACED THEREIN AND RESERVING THE SAME FOR SOCIALIZED HOUSING SITE PURPOSES.
Upon recommendation of the secretary of Environmental and Natural Resources, and by virtue in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 255 dated June 3, 1964 which established the Camp General Servillano Aquino Military reservation located in Barangays San Rafael, San Miguel and Armenia, Municipality of Tarlac (now Tarlac City), Province of Tarlac, Island of Luzon by segregating portions of the land embraced therein containing an area of Fifty Nine Thousand Six Hundred Two (59,602) square meters and reserving the same for socialized housing site purposes open for disposition in favor of the members of the Tarlac Veterans Homeowners Association, Inc. (TARVETAS) pursuant to the provisions of Republic Act No. 274 in relation to the provisions of the Public Land Act, subject to private rights, if there be any, which parcel of land is more particularly described as follows:

A PARCEL OF LAND (Lot 9384-B-2-A of the subdivision plan Psd-03-116390 being a portion of Lot 9384-B-2, Bsd-03-002804 L.R.C. Rec. No. ), situated in Barangays San Rafael, San Miguel and Armenia, City of Tarlac, Province of Tarlac, Island of Luzon. Bounded on the SE., along line 1-2 by Compania General De Tobacos De Pilipinas; on the SW., along line 2-3-4-5 by Lot 9384-A (Bureau of Animal Industry); along line 5-6 by Lot 9384-B-2-B of the subdivision plan; on the W., along line 6-7 by Lot 4358 Tarlac Cadastre; on the NE., along line 7-1 by Lot 1, Bsd-03-112804. Beginning at a point mark "1" on the plan being S. 85 deg. 02'E., 1979.57m. from BMM No. 77, Tarlac Cadastre, thence;
Beginning containing an area of Fifty Nine Thousand Six Hundred Two (59,602) square meters, more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground by PS cyl. conc. mons. 15x40 cms. Bearings true; date of original survey, June 1932-May 1937 and that of the subdivision survey, July 18, 2001 and was approved on September 14, 2001.
