Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995, as amended by Republic Act Mo. 8748 and upon recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby create and designate as Information Technology Park, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916, as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and Resolution Nos. 00-411 and 04-082 dated 29 December 2000 and 26 March 2004, respectively, of the PEZA Board of Directors, the PUEBLO DE ORO INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) PARK located in the Barangay of Upper Carmen, City of Cagayan de Oro, Island of Mindanao, consisting an area of NINETY THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FIVE (90,705) SQUARE METERS, more or less, as defined by the following technical descriptions:
