[ PROCLAMATION NO. 324, January 25, 2012 ]

DECLARING SATURDAY, 04 FEBRUARY 2012 AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE ZAMBALES



WHEREAS, the Commission on Elections en banc promulgated on 29 November 2011, Resolution No. 11-1203, setting the date for the special elections for Member, House of Representatives, Second Legislative District, Zambales, on 04 February 2012; 

WHEREAS, there is a need to declare 04 February 2012 as a special non-working holiday to afford the registered voters of the Second Legislative District the opportunity to participate fully in the special elections; 

WHEREAS, there may also be registered voters in the Second Legislative District who are working in the neighboring First Legislative District of the Province of Zambales; 

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Saturday, 04 February 2012, as a special (non-working) holiday in the Province of Zambales. 

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and cause the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
