[ PROCLAMATION NO. 512, June 06, 1958 ]

RESERVING FOR BANK SITE PURPOSES A CERTAIN PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE CITY OF TACLOBAN



Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the provisions of section 83 of Commonwealth Act No. 141, as amended, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for bank site purposes of the Philippine National Bank, subject to private rights, if any there be, a certain parcel of the public domain situated in the City of Tacloban, and more particularly described in the Bureau of Lands plan Bsd-10713, to wit:

Lot 1, Bsd-10713
(The Philippine National Bank)

A parcel of land (lot 1 of the subdivision plan, Bsd-10713, being a portion of the land described on plan 11-5586, G.L.R.O. Record No. ———), situated in the poblacion, municipality of Tacloban, province of Leyte. Bounded on the NE., SE., SW. and NW., by lot 2 of the subdivision plan. Beginning at a point marked “1” on plan, being N. 46° 56′ W., 253.61 meters from B.L.L.M. 1, municipality of Tacloban, Leyte, thence N. 59° 39′ W., 50 meters to point 2; thence N. 39° 39′ E., 40 meters to point 3; thence S. 50° 39′ E., 50 meters to point 4; thence S. 39° 39′ W., 40 meters to the point of beginning; containing an area of 2,000 square meters, more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground by B.L. Cly. Conc. Mons.; bearings true; declination 1° 30′ E.; date of the original survey, January 17, 1912 and that of the subdivision survey, January 2, 1952.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 6th day of June, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-eight, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the twelfth.
