[ PROCLAMATION NO. 942, November 17, 2005 ]

DECLARING FRIDAY, DECEMBER 23, 2005, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BAYAWAN, PROVINCE OF NEGROS ORIENTAL



WHEREAS, Friday, December 23, 2005, marks the 5th Charter Day anniversary of the City of Bayawan;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Bayawan be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL – ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, December 23, 2005, as special (non-working) day in the City of Bayawan, Province of Negros Oriental.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

DONE, in the City of Manila, this 17th day of November, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Five.
