Attached is the facsimile letter dated March 13, 2001 of Secretary Alberto G. Romulo, Department of Finance informing Mr. Oliver Laporte Fauret, Vice President for Finance and Administration, TOTAL Petroleum Philippine Corporation, that all the duties and taxes on imported goods are collected by the Bureau of Customs and that the excise tax that is due on diesel and unleaded mogas that were imported by their company should be paid to this Bureau.
