GUIDE TO THE SELLING PRICE OF PALAY CERTIFIED SEEDS



For the guidance of all concerned, it is hereby recommended that in the absence of certified palay seeds for “Gintong Ani Program (GPEP IV), good seeds shall be considered as input of the seed growers/farmers. It is recommended that the selling price should be 30% above the prevailing commercial price of paddy palay in your respective areas.

Good seeds shall be sourced from fields of registered or certified seed plantings and quality tested by Seed Quality Control Services, with moisture content (14%), germination (85%) physical purity (98%) and other variety of not lower than 50 grains/500 grams sample and field certification.

This memorandum is for reference and guidance.
