IMPLEMENTATION OF PRESCRIBED PERIOD FOR RENEWAL OF REGISTRATION AND COMPLIANCE TO LIFTING OF CONDITIONAL CERTIFICATE OF PRODUCT REGISTRATION (CCPR)




For the guidance of all concerned the following policies and practices are hereby promulgated:

1. Application for renewal of registration of Veterinary Drugs and Products shall be filed within three (3) months BEFORE the expiration date of the Certificate of Product Registration (CPR).
1.1 Application for renewal of registration FILED AFTER THREE (3) MONTHS from expiration date shall be considered as initial registration.
2. Deficiencies listed/noted on the conditional CPR should be corrected/complied with not later than two (2) months from date of issuance of Conditional Certificate of Products Registration (CCPR).
2.1 If deficiencies/lacking requirements are not corrected/complied with within the validity period of the CCPR, the CCPR shall be considered dropped or cancelled from the roster of registered products. A CCPR can be extended if properly applied for. Application for extension of CCPR should be filed at least two weeks before the expiration date. A maximum of three (3) consecutive CCPR’s with a validity period of two (2) months each can be issued by BAI.
3. These policies and practices will be applied to all new and pending applications.
