U.S. TEXTILE VISAS NO LONGER REQUIRED FOR QUOTA ELIMINATED (INTEGRATED) PRODUCTS EFFECTIVE JANUARY 01, 1999



1.         Please be informed that effective 01 January 1999, all Philippine garments & textile exports where quotas were eliminated (integrated), as enumerated below will no longer require textile visa upon entry into the United States.

The following are the products/categories that will not require textile visa to the U.S.

2.         This Office shall still issue the Textile Export Clearance (TEC) for all the above products before any shipment is effected.

3.         Submission of Bill of Lading/Airwaybill in accordance with the rules shall be required for monitoring purposes.
