AMENDMENT TO ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 149, S. 2004 DATED MAY 4, 2004



Administrative Order No. 149, S. 2004 dated May 4, 2004 is hereby amended with the following changes:

1.   Part IV - A.3. General Guidelines - Technical Requirements

From: Relevant principal parties shall ensure that the protection and safety measures for practices for which they have responsibilities are governed by the technical requirements specified in the Manual on Basic Radiation Protection and Safety.

2.   Part IV.B.1.2. General Guidelines - Radiation Protection Requirements

From: Optimized intervention levels and action levels shall be specified in plans for intervention situations, on the basis of the guidelines given in the Manual on Basic Radiation Protection and Safety.

3.   Part VII. Effectivity

From: This Order shall take effect 15 days after publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation and shall supersede all issuances inconsistent therewith.

To: This Order shall take effect immediately after signing by the Secretary of Health and shall supersede all issuances inconsistent therewith.
