DESIGNATION OF A NEW QUARANTINE ANCHORAGE IN TABACO HARBOR



Pursuant to the provisions of Section 79(B) of the Revised Administrative Code and Section 7 of Republic Act No. 123 there are designated hereunder the boundaries of a new quarantine anchorage in the Tabaco Harbor (Albay) and the rules and regulations covering the use of anchorage are hereby promulgated for the information and guidance of all concerned:

1.  Boundaries — Beginning at the intersection of two imaginary lines, one from the Southern end of Tabaco Pier 90° (true) to approximate position Latitude 13°21'43" N., Longitude 123°44' 45" E., thence 90° (true) 0.5 mile to approximate position Latitude 13°21'42 N., Longitude 123°45'15" E., thence 180° (true) 0.7 mile to approximate position Latitude 13°21'00" N., Longitude 123°45'15" E., thence 270° (true) 0.5 mile to approximate position latitude 13°21'00" N., Longitude 123°44'45" E., thence North (true) 0.7 mile to the point of commencement.

2.  Rules and Regulations

a.      All vessels subject to quarantine inspection shall drop anchor within the limits of this anchorage and await quarantine inspection.

b.      Any vessel subject to quarantine inspection anchoring in an area in the Tabaco Harbor outside the quarantine anchorage may not be cleared from quarantine until such vessel shall proceed within the limits of the anchorage.

c.       A vessel subject to quarantine measures may not be allowed to leave the quarantine anchorage until given a free pratique by the Quarantine Officer.
