Pursuant to Act No. 3846, as amended, the existing radio laws, and in order to address the requirement for (Low Power RF Systems) Remote Control, Memorandum Circular No. 12-12-93, is hereby amended for additional frequency allocation.

An additional radio frequency 429.300 MHz is hereby allocated which shall be governed by the following:

1. Operating Specifications:

The transceiver shall operate within the following parameters:

1.1 Transmit/Receive Frequency : 429.300 MHz
1.2 Transmit Power             : 35m W ERP (maximum)
1.3 Modulation                 : Frequency Modulation
1.4 Bandwidth                  : 16 KHz (Maximum)

2. Licensing and Type-Approval

2.1  Only type-approved transceivers shall be allowed under this additional allocation.
2.2  Locally available transceivers under this category shall be required to register prior to use unless imported which shall require a permit to import.

This Circular shall take effect upon approval and amends all other circulars, orders, instructions, or any part thereof which are inconsistent herewith.

Any violations thereof shall be dealt with in accordance with existing radio rules and regulations.
