AMENDMENT TO AGE QUALIFICATION OF AN APPLICANT TO QUALIFY FOR THE NTC LICENSURE EXAMINATION AS STIPULATED UNDER ITEMS 1.B, 2.2.1 AND 2.2.2 OF MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NOS. 13-11-91, 9-7-98, AND 6-6-98, RESPECTIVELY



In compliance with ITU Radio Regulations, Chapter NIX Article 55 and the Provisions of Section IV/2, Item 2.1, STCW Convention of 1995, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) pursuant to the powers vested upon it hereby amends the Age Qualification of an Applicant to be able to take the GOC, ROC, and REC licensure examination, to read as follows:

“He must be at least 20 years of age”.

With the above amendment, all other provisions in Memorandum Circular Nos. 13-11-91, 9-7-98, and 6-6-98 stands.
