(NAR) VOL. 15 NOS. 3-4 / JULY - SEPTEMBER 2004

[ LTO MEMORANDUM, June 25, 2004 ]

OFFICIAL RECEIPT (OR) OF PAYMENT OF CERTIFICATE OF STOCK (CSR) REPORTED NOT A DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENT IN THE REGISTRATION OF MOTOR VEHICLES

It has been reported that there are district/extension offices requiring the original or certified true copy of the Official Receipt of Payment of the Certificate of Stock Reported (CSR) as a documentary requirement in the registration of motor vehicles.  This requirement is not uniformly implemented in all district offices as there are district offices that do not require copies of the OR of CSR.

As agreed during the Regional Directors Conference held last June 18-19, 2004, LTO will not require the Official Receipt of Payment of the CSR as a documentary requirement in the registration of motor vehicles.

All orders/circulars in conflict herewith is hereby superseded.

Be guided accordingly.

Adopted: 25 June 2004
