As a continuing human resource development program of the Commission, the CSC is once more offering training opportunities to government employees specially, to skilled workers. Hence, all department/agency heads are hereby enjoined to give support to the Local Scholarship Program for the Skilled workers in Government (LSP-SWG) by encouraging and nominating their qualified personnel to avail of the training grants.

An employee who is accepted to the LSP-SWG shall be authorized to study on official time for the duration of the grant. The Commission will shoulder the training fee not exceeding P3,000 per grantee. The heads of agencies, meanwhile, are also enjoined to fulfill the obligation to the scholars as provided for in the attached guidelines.
