OCOM CLEARANCE FOR ONION, GARLIC, GINGER AND POTATO IMPORTATION



Effective immediately, all importations of onion, garlic, ginger and potato shall be subject to clearance from the Office of the Commissioner prior to release.

For the above purpose, the District Collector concerned shall immediately notify this Office Attn: Atty. Anju Nereo C. Castigador Tel No. 5279453 and Telefax No. 527-4574, of any incoming importation of onion, garlic, ginger and potato as soon as he receives an information as to their arrival and shall secure clearance thereof from this Office prior to release thereof.  To expedite verification and action on the clearance requirement, the District Collector concerned shall fax to this Office the import entry as well as other pertinent import documents.

Failure to comply with this Order shall be dealt with accordingly.
