[ VRB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 96-002 ON PENALTIES, April 15, 1996 ]



Please be advised that the following Board Resolution No. 96-03-87 approved by the VIDEOGRAM REGULATORY BOARD during its Regular Meeting on 25th day of March 1996 held at the Conference Room, 11th Agustin 1 Building, Emerald Avenue, Pasig City, was issued, to wit:
"RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, that:

A penalty of One Hundred Pesos (P100.00) per month shall be imposed on all videogram establishments, excluding cable televisions as well as exhibitors, whose Temporary Licenses issued by the Board have expired and which continuously fail to comply with all licensing requirements in securing their videogram commercial licenses issued by the Board.

RESOLVED, further, that if the video establishment, excluding cable televisions as well as exhibitors, have not submitted its lacking requirements to the Board within a period of six (6) months from expiry date of its Temporary License, the application for license shall be deemed forfeited in favor of the government. Thereafter, a new registration shall be necessary to activate the status of the video establishment with the Licensing, Registry and Classification Division.

RESOLVED, finally, that the contents of this Circular shall be stated, in Notice or Warning Format, in all Temporary Licenses and other pertinent documents to forewarn and sufficiently inform the public."
This Circular shall take effect 30 days after its publication.
