IMPORTATION OF COMMODITIES WITHOUT NEED OF PRIVATE GOVERNMENT APPROVAL



In accordance with the recommendation of the NEDA Board Committee on Tariff and Related Matters and as approved by the Monetary Board under Resolution No. 285 dated March 30, 1992, as amended, the importation of the commodities listed in the attached Annex[*] no longer requires the prior approval of the government agency likewise indicated therein.

This amends pertinent portions of Section 8 of Circular 1029, series of 1984 and MAAB No. 1, series of 1990 accordingly.

This Circular shall take effect immediately.
