WHEREAS, Republic Act 7924 empowers the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority to develop, manage and/or operate the solid waste management disposal system and facilities in Metropolitan Manila;

WHEREAS, there is a need to generate additional funds to augment the limited budget allocation on the development and operations of MMDA-operated sanitary landfill facilities;

WHEREAS, a revolving fund shall also be established and developed to help finance its continued operations;

WHEREAS, the imposition and collection of the service fees from independent haulers could be a viable source of revenues for the MMDA.

NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to Sec. 6 of R.A. 7924, this Regulation is hereby promulgated and adopted by the Metro Manila Council, that:

SECTION 1.  Coverage — The Service Fee herein imposed shall be collected from private/independent haulers servicing private establishments and subdivisions.

SECTION 2.  Amount of Charges — The following rates of fees shall be imposed and collected per trip:

4 Wheeler Truck (Canter Type)	-P 150.00
6 Wheeler Truck	-350.00
10 Wheeler Truck	-430.00

SECTION 3. Collection of Charges — The Service Fee herein authorized shall be paid directly to the Treasury Operations Service, Office of the Assistant General Manager for Finance and Administration, MMDA, Guadalupe, Makati City.

SECTION 4. Effectivity — This Regulation shall take effect upon approval.
