In view of management's thrust of providing quality services to a greater number of OCW's while protecting the agency's fund resources through revenue generation on a per contract basis, the following amendments shall be observed

1. The title of MOI No. 8, series of 1995 is to read as follows:

AMENDING the GUIDELINES for the COLLECTION of WELFAREFUND/OWWA CONTRIBUTION from EMPLOYERS of FILIPINO OVERSEAS CONTRACT WORKERS.

2. Frequency of Payment

The paragraph below shall be added under the heading of FREQUENCY OF PAYMENT.

In case of Filipino Overseas Contract Workers with unlimited term contract, Welfarefund/OWWA contributions shall be processed and paid through OWWA collecting or deputized collecting officers every (3) years.

3. Schedule of Contribution

Under Land-based workers, 2.1.1 should read as:

Employers hiring through Private Recruiting Agencies US$25.00

All other provisions of MOI No. 8, not amended, shall remain in effect.

The Memorandum takes effect 06 February 1996.
