AMENDMENTS TO PPA AO NO. 18-95 RE GUIDELINES IN STACKING OF CONTAINERS/CARGOES IN THE REHABILITATED FACILITIES OF NORTH HARBOR PROPER



To prevent the deterioration of the newly-rehabilitated pier facilities of North Harbor, the following Sections of the 19 April 95 PPA Administrative Order No. 18-95 are hereby amended to read as:
SECTION 4.1. Working Apron. — The area 20 meters from the edge of piers, wharves and slips, designated for loading/unloading operations.

SECTION 5.1.1. No liveload of any form, except for the cargo handling equipment being used in the direct loading/unloading of cargoes and vans to/from the trucks/chassis, shall be allowed along the working apron.

SECTION 5.1.2. When the loading/unloading operation is completed, the working apron shall be free from cargo handling equipment and all other types of loads that will adversely affect the structural strength of the pier and also hamper traffic therein.
This Order shall take effect immediately.
