RE: INTERIM RULES IN THE APPOINTMENT OF DEPUTIZED AGENTS



Pursuant to the Memorandum dated 11 May 2009 on the Guidelines in the Appointment of Deputized Agents and in order to expedite the issuance of new deputation orders and ID’s after June 30, 2009, when all deputation orders previously issued by the Regional Directors shall have been canceled, the following guidelines shall be observed:

1. The Regional Director shall indorse and transmit immediately to the Office of the Assistant Secretary thru The Chairman, Deputation Evaluation Committee (DEC) for final evaluation, the list of recommended applicants for deputation.

2. Transmittal shall include also a Certificate of No Pending Case and Certificate of Employment in Government Service signed by the Regional Director concerned and enumerating therein the names of deputation applicants covered by said certifications including their area of operations.

3. The Regional Director shall state in the transmittal that other supporting documents as required of said applicants shall follow soon.

4. Deputation orders issued by the undersigned under these guidelines may be revoked, if it is found later that the deputized agent concerned is not qualified based on the document submitted.

5. Releasing of the Deputation Card/ID shall be at the Traffic Safety Division (TSD) through Ms. Beverly C. Sabela.

6. Activities pertaining to Deputation such as Travels and Seminars should be coursed through the Director for Law Enforcement Service (LES) thru the DEC Chairman before it is acted upon by the undersigned.

All previous orders/memoranda inconsistent herewith is hereby superseded.
