The MARINA Board during the 197th Regular Board Meeting held on 16 July 2009 at the DOTC Office of the Undersecretary for Maritime Transport has adopted a resolution extending the date of compliance to secure a mandatory marine insurance cover for wreck removal and oil pollution as prescribed under MARINA Circular No. 2009-01 and MARINA Circular No. 2009-03 until 21 October 2009.
