NOTICE

RESOLUTION CHANGING THE SCHEDULE OF RACING DAYS OF BOTH CLUBS FOR A “WITHIN THE WEEK RACING CALENDAR”



Please be informed that the Commission in its meeting on October 8, 1999, unanimously approved and adopted the following resolution.

WHEREAS at present, the Racing Clubs have four (4) regular racing days starting in and in different days of the week — Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday for PRCI, and Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday for MJCI;

WHEREAS, there sometimes arise confusion as to which Club is entitled to hold races when declared holidays fall in between the weekly racing calendars of the Clubs;

Now, to provide continuity and avoid confusion, the Commission will require them to hold their regular four (4) races within the week, i.e. any day of their choice between Monday to Sunday, including officially declared holidays.

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that this resolution should be implemented on the first day of January, Year 2000.

RESOLVED FURTHER that the Executive Director shall notify the racing clubs as soon as possible of this resolution so that they can prepare the RACING CALENDAR FOR THE YEAR 2000 in accordance with the same.

Please be guided accordingly.
