(NAR) VOL. 10 NO. 4 / OCTOBER - DECEMBER 1999

[ ATO MEMO CIRCULAR NO. 24-99, October 01, 1999 ]

RENEWAL OF AIR CARRIER OPERATING CERTIFICATE (ACOC)

It has been observed by this Office that are operators who are applying for the renewal of their Air Carrier Operating Certificate (ACOC) few days prior to the expiration of their Certificate resulting to the issuance of a Temporary Operator’s Permit, which is prejudicial to the best interest of the service.

To preclude this kind of practice, it is directed that AO 135 operators should submit application for renewal of their ACOC, sixty (60) days prior to its expiration, so that this Office will have enough time to conduct inspection and evaluation, and the operators will be given ample time to make the necessary correction to the discrepancies noted by ATO inspector, prior to the approval of the regular ACOC.

For your guidance and compliance.

Adopted: 01 Oct. 1999
