In view of the growing number of distressed Filipino workers being housed in the Filipino Workers Resource Center in Jordan, the deployment of Filipino Household Service Workers to Jordan is hereby TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED effective 21 January 2008 and until further notice.

The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) and the POLO-Jordan are hereby directed to take the necessary steps to ensure that this information is widely disseminated to all stakeholders.
