The Board has set a deadline for application/petition for conversion of Point to Point (P2P) and V-Hire Service to Garage-Terminal (GT) Service up to and until June 30,2007 it has been noticed that not a single petition has been filed for conversion in Region 7

In the interest of public service and in order to allow qualified applicants to apply for conversion to GT service, there is a need to extend the deadline for the acceptance of applications/petitions up to DECEMBER 31, 2008 in Region 7 only. This is the last and final extension. Failure of the qualified applicants to apply for conversion shall be construed as lack of interest in their part and shall result in the cancellation of their franchises upon the lapse of the extension period or after DECEMBER 31, 2008.

This Memorandum Circular supersedes any and all issuances inconsistent herewith and takes effect immediately following the filing of three (3) copies hereof with the UP Law Center, pursuant to Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 11, dated 09 October 1992.
