ADOPTION OF NEW FONT TYPE AND FONT SIZE FOR CERTIFICATES OF TITLE AND CERTIFIED TRUE COPIES OF TITLES GENERATED BY THE COMPUTERIZED SYSTEM



WHEREAS, LRA issued LRA Circular No. 20-2011, with subject “Adoption of Tabular Format for Technical Description,” which was published on September 13, 2011, with respect to the adoption of a tabular technical description format for Certificates of Title issued as a result of Original Registration and the registration of Approved Subdivision and/or Consolidation Plans, a copy of which is herewith attached;

WHEREAS, to implement the Tabular Technical Description format, the font type and font size of the Certificates of Titles to be issued pursuant to the said Circular require modification;

WHEREAS, the contemplated modification of the font type and font size as above described applies as well to Certified True Copies of Titles and system-generated additional pages of manually-issued titles.

WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing, all Officers and Personnel of the Land Registration Authority and its Registries of Deeds are advised that the Authority shall adopt:

  1. The use of the font type “Courier New” and font size “8” for the first page of the Certificate of Title issued as a result of the Original Registration; and
  2. The use of the font type “Courier New” and font size “10” for all other Certificates of Titles generated by the system and Certified True Copies of the above mentioned titles as well as of the system generated additional page/s of the manually issued titles.

Information materials at the Registries of Deeds and Central Office shall be made available to inform the transacting public as well as the stakeholders, Associations, LGUs and agencies on the above listed changes.

This Circular shall take effect immediately upon approval and publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
