SUGAR IMPORTATION SUBJECT TO CLEARANCE BY THE SUGAR REGULATORY ADMINISTRATION
In view of the request of the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA), through Administrator Nicolas A. Alfonso, it is hereby reiterated that releases of imported sugar, whether for consumption or warehousing purposes, shall not be allowed without CLEARANCE covering said importation duly issued by the Sugar Regulatory Administration.
To obviate any possibility of delay, kindly inform the concerned importers/brokers of this requirement so that necessary steps are taken for them to secure said clearance prior to or as soon as the shipment arrives.
Kindly be guided accordingly.
