AMENDMENT OF CMO 66-93 AND 66-93A BLK 159 & RSBS MODEL SECURITY WAREHOUSES



It is hereby ordered that releases of shipments in RSBS & Blk 159 Model Security Warehouses by way of settlement or redemption shall no longer require clearance with the Chief of Staff, Office of the Commissioner. However, the clearance requirement for releases by way of donation and condemnation as provided for by Paragraph IV E of CMO 66-93 and 66-93A shall remain.

All offers of settlement and redemption of shipments apprehended by the Office of the Commissioner as evidenced by the Commissioner's signing or endorsing the seizure recommendation shall be forwarded directly by the Collector of Customs to the Commissioner of Customs attention: Chief of Staff. The authority delegated to the Deputy Commissioner for Revenue & Monitoring Group in the evaluation of offers of settlement and redemption in so far as these shipments are concerned is hereby recalled.

All offers of settlement and redemption still undergoing evaluation at the time of issuance of this Memorandum shall be acted upon in line with this procedure herein above described.
