TREATMENT OF SHIPMENTS CONSIGNED TO, OR BEING FOLLOWED-UP BY, PERSONS OR ENTITIES CLAIMING RELATIONSHIP WITH THE DEPUTY COMMISSIONER FOR INTELLIGENCE & ENFORCEMENT GROUP



You are hereby directed to report to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner for Intelligence & Enforcement Group any individual or entity claiming to have actual or alleged relationship with the Deputy Commissioner for Intelligence & Enforcement Group.

Shipments consigned to, or being processed/followed-up by, said individual or entity shall be closely examined and checked as to their declaration, tariff classification, valuation and compliance of all existing customs rules and regulations.

Accordingly, said shipments shall be subjected to 100% examination to be conducted in the presence of ESS and CHS agents and their declared values and tariff classification shall be referred to the Valuation Classification Review Committee for verification.  Furthermore, proof of compliance with this directive shall be forwarded to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner for Intelligence & Enforcement Group at least 24 hours prior to the release o the said shipments.
