[ CSC MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 37, S. 1995, December 20, 1995 ]
REVISED LIST OF POSITIONS UNDER SCEP SCHEME 1
The Commission with its objective to standardize the implementation of the Skills Certification Equivalency Program (SCEP) in the bureaucracy has approved Resolution No. 95-8224 on December 20, 1995 and adopted the attached Revised List of Positions covered by CSC MC No. 42, s. 1993 (SCEP), Scheme 1.
The proposed appointee to any of the positions under Scheme 1 should have passed the particular trade/skills tests administered by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), formerly the NMYC, and should have been granted equivalent eligibility by the Civil Service Commission before he can be appointed on a permanent status to the position.
The positions deleted from the original list under Scheme 1 shall be covered by Scheme 2. The procedures set forth in MC 46, s. 1993 on the appointment and conferment of eligibility of the positions under Scheme 2 shall be followed.
Those who have already passed the trade/skills tests for the positions deleted prior to their deletion from the list may still be granted the appropriate eligibility for the positions.
This Memorandum Circular shall take effect fifteen days (15) after publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
